1. The first step will be to start the check-in process. This is done by clicking the “Check In“ button on the rental search page.

2. The next step will be to select the correct check-in time (the time the renter returned the vehicle). Once you have selected the time, click the next button in the bottom right or click on the “Vehicle Details“ in the stepper to move to the next step.

3. The following step is where you enter the mileage that has been driven and the returned fuel level. Once done, click the next button or click on the “Payment Info“ in the stepper to move to the next step.

4. The next step is the payment step. Here you need to adjust the payments for the contract to be balanced out.

5. In the final step of check-in, if damage inspection is not enabled, then proceed to step 7. If damage inspection is enabled, the damage inspection check-in will need to be completed to be able to fully close out the contract. There are multiple ways to complete the damage inspection check-in.
The first option is to scan the barcode in the top right of the screen with the DamageId app.

The second option is to click the Send Inspection Report button – from here you can have a link to complete DamageId emailed to you, or you can copy the URL directly.

The third option is to log in to the DamageId website. After logging in click on the “Customer” dropdown at the top of the page then click Send Inspection Request. On that page, in the RA Number text field, you will want to type in the confirmation number from our system and check the “Check In“ bubble. After this, you will want to click the “Send Email“ button. The renter should shortly receive an email with a link to complete the DamageId check-in.
6. After completing the DamageId, refresh the page and the Inspection Required icon will now be a green check mark

7. You have now completed all the steps for check-in and you can now click the “Confirm“ button in the bottom right. After clicking that button a receipt will be sent to the customer and the contract will be marked as closed.
